Collapsible gates are good for areas where you need an inexpensive but reasonably sturdy barrier. They stay in place through the use of outward compression. They can be removed and stored in a closet effortlessly when not in use. These gates have no "pass thru" opening, are more easily dislodged than other gates and are not recommended for high-traffic areas. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND COLLAPSIBLE GATES FOR STAIRWAYS.
