Pool safety wristband alarm system provides an important layer of protection in ensuring your child does not enter a pool or other body of water without your knowledge.  This clever system features a base unit receiver and alarm combined with a fun-to-wear wristband transmitter that will trigger the alarm the moment it comes into contact with water.

The system is fully expandable - all children (yours and guests in your home), even pets, can be protected on the same system simply by adding more wristband (or pet collar) transmiters (sold separately).

Setup

1. Snap baby turtle into front of base unit.  Wristband and baby turtle need to be the same color.
2. Set base unit in a window overlooking the pool or body of water.  Base must be in direct line of sight of the water.  No fence or wall between base unit and water.  Furthest distance between base unit and water cannot be over 150 feet.
3. Plug AC adaptor into bottom of base unit and into a wall outlet. Green light will indicate that the unit is armed.
4. Test the base unit.  Stand at least 10 feet from the base unit  and dip wristband into a glass of water.  Alarm will sound as soon as the wristband is wet.  You may press the half moon shaped button on the base unit to lower the alarm volume.
5. Dry the wristband.  Set the wristband on its side to drain the water out.  Spraying compressed air will expedite the drying process.  The base unit will continue to alarm as long as the wristband is wet.  When the green light is lit, the base unit is armed and ready again.
6. Secure the wristband on child.  Thread the wristband through the latch until it is secure.  Use the supplied key to secure the lock.  The band is now locked in place and requires the key to remove it.  Never place the band on a child’s ankle.
