Helps make a wide variety of doors and windows safer for children.  Perfect for sliding exterior and closet doors, sliding cabinet doors, sliding windows, double-hung sash windows.  To engage lock, simply flip the moveable, hinged half into a 90 degree position to prevent the two panels of the door/window from passing one another.  To unlock, flip the hinged portion back into a parallel position, allowing the two panels to pass as usual.
