Helps protect against unauthorized entry into pool by children.  Designed to be used in: 1) Above Ground Pools including quick set, soft sided and portable above ground pools as well as Spa’s, and 2) smaller In Ground Pools where mounting in the deck is not possible or desirable.  Stand alone unit floats on the surface of the water to monitor activity. Uses sub-surface detection technology and sets off a loud, pulsating alarm when triggered. Comes with a remote receiver which sounds a secondary alarm inside home when the pool unit is activated.  Alarm is tamper-proof and will alarm if removed from pool. When you wish to use your pool, simply put the unit into "Sleep Mode" and remove it from the water. The unit will automatically wake-up and run a system test when pleaced back into position in the water. New sensing technology minimizes chance of false alarms due to winde, rain or small objects such as sticks or toys entering the water.

 Installation

• Unit floats in water.
• Tether so unit is no more than 5 inches from pool wall; ideally closer to minimize movement.
• Avoid location directly across from water circulation return duct; have return line cover pointing down.
• If you have a pool cleaner, position unit in location to minimize risk that pool cleaner will spray or hit the alarm.
